“The way of the Hand and Foot”

Tae, meaning to kick or jump; Kwon, meaning fist or hand; and Do, which means the way; are the three Chinese/Korean words that make the word Taekwondo. It can be thought of as “the way of the hand and foot.”

The American Taekwondo Association (ATA) is internationally headquarted in Little Rock, Arkansas. ATA is the single largest martial arts organization in North America and is dedicated to the martial arts discipline of Taekwondo with programs for all ages and abilities.
